Motorcycle crash blocking I-95 lanes heading toward downtown Miami, 112

An accident involving at least one motorcycle is blocking the southbound Interstate 95 express lanes after Northwest 62nd Street (Martin Luther King Boulevard) and two left lanes of I-95 just before State Road 112/I-195 connector crossing as the Wednesday morning rush hour hits.

Or, rather, as the morning rush hour stalls, considering that this could back up traffic all the way into Broward County.

Alternate routes include State Road 441, Northwest Seventh Avenue in Miami-Dade County; and Biscayne Boulevard, best reached by exiting at Ives Dairy Road (203rd Street) or 79th Street.

Most of those routes south remained jammed after 9 a.m.
