Ron Paul

Ronald Ernest Paul (born August 20, 1935) was a United States Congressman from Lake Jackson, Texas, came from Republicans. He is one of the party's presidential candidate for 2008 presidential elections. He also had to follow 1988 presidential election as the Libertarian party representatives. After graduating from Duke University School of Medicine in 1961 and became a gynecologist, he became a military surgeon during the Vietnam War.
Ron Paul supports free trade, low taxes, small government, and foreign policy of non-intervention. He opposed the U.S. invasion of Iraq in 2003, illegal immigration, and gun control. He was married to his wife Carol (née Wells) on February 1, 1957 and has five children: Ronnie, Lori, Rand, Robert, and Joy. They also have 18 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchildren.
